19/6/2019 Wyong Thursday Tips
by Gary Harley

The clash of two talented three year olds Sir Elton and Lashes will highlight Thursday’s race meeting at Wyong. The pair will contest the Central Coast Bulldogs Masters Rugby League Class 2 Handicap (1100m).

Sir Elton is the early favourite just ahead of Lashes. The aptly named Sir Elton a son of Your Song was very impressive on debut when he led throughout to easily win a Gosford Maiden on May 25. The time was good and on Thursday he has barrier one and Tommy Berry rides.

Lashes has 59 ½ kilograms and the filly has a horror draw however she has natural speed. Lashes beat the smart Kylease in a Warwick Farm Maiden in January and she bolted in at Hawkesbury in February before a spell. The filly has won two recent trials.
