22/2/2020 Tim Clark replaces Luke Currie on Hanseatic after horror fall.

Luke Currie, who was booked to ride Blue Diamond Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) favourite Hanseatic (Street Boss) at Caulfield, has missed the ride after being involved in a fall shortly after the finishing line in the last race at Moonee Valley last night. Currie rode the Tony and Calvin McEvoy-trained Yulong June (More Than Ready) into third in the Drummond Golf Handicap (1200m) in a tight finish before appearing to clip heels and being dislodged.
He was conscious but paramedics on course placed the ninetime Group 1 jockey in a neck brace.
Later reports suggested he was in Royal Melbourne Hospital where he was being treated for suspected concussion.
Early Saturday morning connections decided to book Sydney based jockey Tim Clark for the ride. Hanseatic has continued to ease in betting after the barrier draw and is now at $2.60.
