Juvenile Group One winner Seabrook will head to Sydney next week to tackle the Gr.1 Golden Rose Stakes (1400m) at Rosehill.
The New Zealand-bred filly ran third first-up in the Gr.3 H.D.F McNeil Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield earlier this month and trainer Mick Price said he would space her races heading into the Gr.1 Thousand Guineas (1600m) next month.
“She will go to the Golden Rose, she handles Sydney well,” Price said.
“She could have gone a bit better first-up I thought. Ollie (jockey Damien Oliver) got off and thought her runs spaced would be better.
“She goes well at Rosehill and settles in well at Rosehill, we’ll take her up there next week some time and run her there second-up. It’s a million dollar 1400m race and then we get three weeks to the Thousand Guineas down here (Melbourne).”
