Group 1 winner Scales Of Justice (Not A Single Doubt) could return to the track in the Bletchingly Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) at Caulfield on Saturday, but the rising seven-year-old will have to please trainer Lindsey Smith in a jump-out at Ballarat today before he is given the all-clear to line up. The 2016 Railway Stakes (Gr 1, 1600m) hero has not been seen since finishing third at Ascot in November, but Smith has been pleased with the progress made by the gelding in recent weeks. "He'll have a soft jump-out today and I'll see how he goes and make a decision from there," Smith said yesterday. "He's been good in his work, he had a jump-out about three weeks ago which was good and he's been fine ever since. We're hoping he's back to normal, which would be good. The riders who have been on him are all happy with how he's going. I can't fault him so fingers crossed he gets through today."
