Listed-winning filly Kinky Boom (Spirit Of Boom) was the joint-top lot at the close of the the Inglis Digital July Monthly Online Sale yesterday, after being bought by Sheamus Mills Bloodstock for $150,000. The filly was purchased by Tony McEvoy for $40,000 at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale from the Phoenix Broodmare draft in 2017 and won the Inglis 2YO Premier (RL, 1200m) on her first start. Kinky Boom shared the honours yesterday with Guelder (O’Reilly), after she was purchased by Greenhaven Park Stud. Offered in foal to Widden’s sire Zoustar (Northern Meteor), the mare is out of Volkrose (Volksraad), making her a sister to Group 1 winner and now Windsor Park stallion Shamexpress.
