7/1/2019 Hightail confirmed for Magic Millions

Saturday’s impressive Sydney winner Hightail (Written Tycoon) was yesterday confirmed as a certain starter in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic (RL, 1200m). The Peter and Paul Snowden trained juvenile will be backing up for the third straight week after China Horse Club, who race Hightail in a syndicate including Newgate Farm and partners, reported that the gelding would travel to Queensland for the lucrative two year-old contest. Hightail, who was purchased for $520,000 from the Woodside Park Stud draft at the 2018 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, won a Kensington two-year-old handicap over 1150 metres at the weekend. He had finished third the previous Saturday at Randwick.
