14/3/2019 Wide barrier not a worry for Global Exchange

Trainers Ciaron Maher and David Eustace are not worried about barrier 12 for Global Exchange in tomorrow’s Alister Clark Stakes at Moonee Valley. The colt comes into the race having taken out the Autumn Classic (Gr 2, 1800m) on his most recent outing and Eustace is looking forward to seeing the colt run tomorrow, with the team eyeing a crack at the Australian Derby next month. "The barrier isn't ideal and I'd suggest we'll be taking a conservative approach with him heading into the Derby," Eustace told "But he's taken nice improvement from that run, he's come on again and the trip will be no trouble at all. He's stepping up in trip but we're going in as confident as you could be that he'll see it out."
In early betting markets, Global Exchange is $2.90. Check out the latest Alister Clark Stakes betting market.
