Group 2 winner and Group 1-placed Encryption (Lonhro) will stand his first season at Eureka Stud in Queensland for a fee of $13,500 (inc GST). Standing in partnership with Darley, the James Cummings-trained three-year-old won the Black Opal Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) as a juvenile and the Danehill Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) as a threeyear-old, while he also finished second behind Booker (Written Tycoon) in the Oakleigh Plate (Gr 1, 1100m) earlier in the season and retires as the winner of $743,500 in prize-money. Encryption is the first foal out of four-time Group 1 winner Guelph (Exceed And Excel), who landed the Sires’ Produce Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) and Champagne Stakes (Gr 1, 1600m) as a juvenile prior to being crowned champion three-year-old filly in Australia in 2013-14 following victories in the Flight Stakes (Gr 1, 1600m) and the MRC Thousand Guineas (Gr 1, 1600m).
