2/1/2020 Big bonus on offer for progeny of Aquis stallions

Aquis Farm has ramped up the incentives for buyers of its yearlings by exciting first season sires Divine Prophet (Choisir) and Kiss And Make Up (More Than Ready) for the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. Aquis has announced a bonus scheme where the farm will pay the buyer of a yearling by either stallion back their purchase price in full if the horse goes on to win a Saturday metropolitan two-year-old race on or before the 2021 Magic Millions race day. A $50,000 bonus will also be paid to the horse’s breeder. “We have got two first season sires who we have supported to the hilt and this takes the Aquis philosophy of supporting people who support us to the next level,” Aquis managing director Shane McGrath said. “It is real money and if they have a horse by Divine Prophet or Kiss And Make Up who is precocious enough to win early in the season then Aquis will write them a cheque and give them their money back. The leading first season sire at the moment by winners is Spill The Beans who we recently lost and we are confident that Divine Prophet and Kiss And Make Up can take up the mantle and they are the horses we want to get behind.” Caulfield Guineas (Gr 1, 1600m) winner Divine Prophet has 12 yearlings catalogued at next week’s Gold Coast sale while Todman Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) winner Kiss And Make Up has two lots being offered.
