14/11/2017 Three for Williams in Zipping Classic

Victorian owner Lloyd Williams is expected to have three runners in the Zipping Classic, a race named after his 2010 Australian Cup (Gr 1, 2000m) winner Zipping (Danehill).
Williams has nominated Almandin, who ran 12th in this year’s Melbourne Cup, Neville Sellwood Stakes (Gr 3, 2000m) winner Assign (Montjeu) and The Taj Mahal (Galileo) who ran fourth in the Emirates Stakes (registered as LKS Mackinnon Stakes) (Gr 1, 2000m) at Flemington on Saturday. "I am just a bit
worried about him (The Taj Mahal) backing up after having a run on a hard track," Williams told RSN927. Damien Oliver will ride Almandin, Ben Melham will partner Assign and Kerrin McEvoy for The Taj Mahal.
