10/4/2018 Tosen Stardom retired

Dual Group One winner Tosen Stardom (Deep Impact), who finished down the field in the Doncaster Mile (Gr 1, 1600m) at the weekend, has been retired from racing and will embark on his stallion career at Woodside Park Stud later this year. Jamie Lovett, of owners Australian Bloodstock, said: "He retires a sound horse and just looks to have lost the desire to race. We're sure he'll now enjoy the next stage of his career. After an up-and-down start to his Australian career, it was so great to see him live up to what we knew he could do." The seven-year-old Tosen Stardom, whose stud fee will be announced at a later date, won seven of his 29 starts for prize money earnings of $3,455,607.
