26/9/2017 Royal Symphony set to run in Guineas Prelude

Unbeaten three-year-old Royal Symphony (Domesday) is set to run in the Caulfield Guineas Prelude (Gr 3, 1400m) on Sunday as opposed to the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) on the same day. The Tony McEvoy-trained three-year-old, who has won his four starts so far, is also nominated to take
on the older horses in the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes. The trainer said Royal Symphony had benefited from his first up victory on 16 September at Flemington. β€œHe just blew a bit hard after ten weeks between runs as a colt,” McEvoy said.
