15/2/2018 Fresh is best for Redkirk

Lindsay Park has two runners in Saturday’s Black Caviar Lightning Stakes (Gr 1, 1000m) at Flemington, the first-up specialist Redkirk Warrior (Notnowcato) and classy three-year-old filly Formality (Fastnet Rock). The stablemates are two of ten runners in the race headlined by Redzel (Snitzel). Regan Bayliss will partner Redkirk Warrior, while Dwayne Dunn has been booked to ride Formality. “He has a great first-
up record and we’ve put him in blinkers which he wore in a recent jump out at Flemington and
was really good,” co-trainer Tom Dabernig said of Redkirk Warrior. “I think he’s in similar form to
when he won the Newmarket.”
