Race 1 Strata Community Insurance Maiden 900m

Kennywyn has been consistent this time in and he will be hard to beat on the quick back up. He has genuine speed and he was narrowly beaten on this track over this trip a week ago.

Biscuit Time has speed and he was an easy Gosford trial winner recently. The blinkers come off and the four-kilo claim is a big positive.

Superlight has been placed in her last two starts at Taree.

Race 2 Strata Community Insurance Class 2 900m

Navua Mist had her first run for the Lees stable at Gosford recently when she led and finished second. She is a fast mare and placed twice at Canterbury in November. She is very well weighted after the claim.

Serious Star knuckled at the start when placed at Gosford last start and the short trip is ideal.

Denman Dreaming goes quick and has a chance.

Race 3 Strata Community Insurance Maiden 1350m

Divine Nature has good recent trial form and this is a winnable race for the filly. She has won her past two trials at Wyong and Newcastle and her breeding suggests a soft track wont be a problem.

Sand Wedge has been placed in five of fourteen starts and he went okay when placed at Tamworth last start.

Lucky Starlet ran on well when placed here last week.

4 Sand Wedge

7 Lucky Starlet

Race 4 Strata Community Insurance Class 2 1570m

No Effort Needed races well on this track and he backs up a week after a luckless second on the track a week ago. She is much more favourably drawn this time and she should race closer.

Sheilarized was run down last first up at Muswellbrook on a heavy track recently and she has a four-kilo claim.

Invicta last run at Taree was an eye catcher.

5 No Effort Needed

6 Invicta

Race 5 Strata Community Insurance Maiden 1150m

Sulaymanee is well placed here after a close fourth at Hawkesbury last start. He finished strong in a better field than this and the colt has drawn well.

Surveys Legacy has been placed in four of her past five starts and she is a big threat.

Smart Ali has a chance.

Race 6 Strata Community Insurance Class 1 Handicap 1150m

Yarrapower is ready to win after a first up second at Newcastle recently. He has the rails barrier and is an on-pace runner with sound provincial form.

Christmas Cheer will be improved by two runs from a spell and he is a Canterbury placegetter.

Ironheart hasn’t started for twelve months but he had good provincial form last prep.

Race 7 Strata Community Insurance Benchmark 59 1350m

Celtic Trial wasn’t beaten far first up at Taree and she could break through for her first New South Wales win. The mare should be at her top in her third run from a spell.

Corey resumes here and he showed good speed when narrowly beaten at Taree on January 31.

Mosgiel Lucy has a place chance in an open race.
