25/1/2018 Field of six for Australia Stakes

The Darren Weir-trained Brave Smash (Tosen Phantom) heads a field of six runners for the Australia Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) at Moonee Valley tomorrow. The five-year-old, who won the Chandler
Macleod Stakes (Listed, 1200m) over the same course and distance in September, finished third in The Everest (1200m) at his last start in October and will race from barrier two under Craig Williams. Weir has also accepted with Ken’s Dream (Dream Ahead) and Stellar Collision (Star Witness), while Anthony Freedman will be represented by Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) runner-up Mr Sneaky (High Chaparral).
